The Los Angeles metropolitan area is known as home to many popular gyms, but here are five gyms that are particularly well-regarded and what made those gyms so popular:

  1. Equinox: Equinox is a luxury fitness club with locations across the United States and the world, including several locations in the Los Angeles area. The company was founded in 1991 in New York City by a group of investors led by Harvey Spevak. At the time, the fitness industry was dominated by low-cost, no-frills gyms, but the founders of Equinox saw an opportunity to create a higher-end fitness club that would appeal to a more upscale clientele. Equinox opened its first location in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a wide range of group fitness classes, and personal training services. The gym quickly became popular among New York City’s affluent residents, and the company expanded rapidly, opening new locations in other major cities across the United States. In the early 2000s, Equinox began to expand its services beyond just fitness, offering spa and wellness services, as well as luxury amenities such as saunas and steam rooms. The company also began to focus on creating a luxury experience for its members, with sleek and modern design, high-end locker rooms, and other amenities typically found in luxury hotels. Equinox also invested heavily in technology, creating an app that allows members to reserve classes and access their workout history, as well as virtual training and live streaming classes. The cost of an Equinox membership varies depending on the location and the type of membership you choose. On average, a monthly membership at an Equinox gym can cost anywhere from $160 to $250, with initiation fees that can range from $200 to $500. Equinox offers different types of memberships, each with its own set of perks and features, such as access to all Equinox locations, discounts on personal training and spa services, and priority class reservations. They also offer options such as commitment-based memberships which can be more expensive in the short term but can provide discounts and other benefits over time. Additionally, Equinox also offers a “premium” membership called “Equinox+” which can cost around $475 per month, that includes exclusive access to additional locations, exclusive classes, and other perks. It’s worth noting that the prices and membership options can vary depending on the location, so it’s best to check with your local Equinox gym for specific pricing and membership options. Overall, an Equinox membership can be considered on the higher end of the spectrum compared to regular gyms, but the membership fee reflects the luxury amenities, state-of-the-art equipment, and wide range of classes and services that Equinox offers to its members. Today, Equinox is one of the most well-known and respected luxury fitness brands in the world, with over 100 locations worldwide. Alex and Sergei is very responsible and helpful
HOLY MOLY! Where do I even begin. First of all, in the last 6 years, I've moved probably 3-4 times. I've hired through task rabbit, asked for recs through friends, and have even hired those amazing parking lot patrons you see at every Home Depot. Long story short, it's always been a nightmare. Half of my things end up broken, my walls get scuffed, I end up needing to help lift things and spend hours afterwards cleaning up what the movers messed up. When planning my current move, I knew I had some really tricky pieces that were going to be an absolute beast to move to my new condo. I decided to dish out a couple extra bucks and work with an actual moving company this time after my best friend Lauren raved about LA Moving Star for months.

When I tell you I'm astonished. First of all, the price was very reasonable and the movers that showed up were actual professionals. I would call them moving artists to say the least. They strategically have so many tricks up their sleeves in getting massive items through very cramped and small spaces. Everything was wrapped beautifully and not a single thing was damaged. Not only that but they were SO efficient. They were hustling, moving fast, and getting it all done in a timely manner. Usually when companies charge by the hour, I tend to notice workers taking their sweet time in certain areas... But this company values integrity and you can tell. They actually care about their customers and it's SO apparent. My specific movers were Alex, Max, and Serg and the 3 boys were spectacular. This move was definitely not an easy one and they even had to completely disassemble and rebuild my three massive closet pieces by hand.

I cannot reccomend this company enough and will be reffering everybody I know to use them. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I thought that all the 5 star reviews must be fake. But nope, LA Moving Star is the real deal. Max, Mike and Serge did an amazing job and they stayed within the quoted time right down to the hour. I was so stressed about not having packed everything but they did in 2 hours what would have taken me 3 days. The only thing I will say is that they don't wrap/break down eeeevvverryytthiing. there were some things put in the truck unwrapped (not the big important stuff, but small tables, artwork) that made me nervous. so if you want everything wrapped, ask them. but nothing was damaged so no harm no foul. trust the experts!

Alex, Max, Ike, and Serg were terrific. Our move was from Los Angeles to San Diego. We had a 2 bedroom and they moved and re built everything for us. They were fast, efficient, and they worked for us even though our elevator was not working. And we lived on the third floor. This was the best moving experience we have ever had.

Alex, Marks, Serg came for help.
My friend have referred and I am happy I didn’t shop around and saved a lot time.

There was so much stuff and they have moved carefully.

They did a lot hard work, really hard work.

I would recommend everyone to get their service.

They also have system in place and reminders about order progress.

Have good communication skills and they know what is to do.

One suggestion is if anybody so much stuff, call their call center for asking big truck.
